As an intern with Troop L, you will have an opportunity to interview and interact with the troop's patrol, crime, and staff commanders to gain an understanding of their roles and areas of responsibility. You will also be able to observe, interact, and ask questions of troopers engaged in specialized functions such as criminal investigations, computer crime, canine, aviation, and so much more. You will be tasked with preparing statistical reports and recommendations after reviewing crime and crash data. In addition, you will have an opportunity to provide valuable input regarding cultural perceptions of law enforcement and make suggestions for improving the relationship between law enforcement and the young adult population.
